Ramsay Gilderdale

I have been researching the Gilderdale lineage for some years.  Infuriatingly I can only get back to 1800 without taking some major leaps of guesswork,  though Walter de Gildhusdal was trundling around Yorkshire in 1233. Below is my direct family tree. I will be loading up the other  branches as and when.... any info you can give me, please drop me a line.

1. JOHN2gilderdale (john\)was bom 1778 in Wakefield, son of a John Gilderdale, who was possibly married to an Ann Duckels.   He married elizabeth newman1806 inBolton le Moors, Lancashire.  She was the widow of a John Escrick.tn_unknown2
